Hi, I’m Valerie Bynums, an Associate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I believe therapy is most meaningful when it feels like a genuine partnership. My role isn’t to tell you what to do — it’s to walk alongside you, helping you better understand yourself, your relationships, and the patterns that may be keeping you stuck. I see you as the expert on your own life, and together we work toward the changes you want to make. I work with couples, teens, and families. I’m passionate about helping couples strengthen communication, rebuild connection, and navigate conflict with more understanding and compassion. I enjoy supporting teens as they explore identity, manage stress, and build confidence during what can be a challenging stage of life. In family therapy, I focus on improving communication and helping families create healthier, more supportive dynamics at home. I am proudly LGBTQI-affirming and committed to creating an inclusive, culturally responsive space where you feel safe, respected, and free to show up as your authentic self. My style is warm, collaborative, and interactive. I combine insight with practical tools so you not only gain clarity but also leave sessions feeling empowered to make meaningful, lasting changes.
